Altereco’s Solar Seminar at the Bristol Landlord Expo

Altereco’s Solar Seminar at the Bristol Landlord Expo

We are happy to announce that Altereco delivered a successful presentation at the Bristol Landlord Expo 2011 which took place at the Bristol UWE Conference centre on the 9th June. Speakers Reg Illingworth and Jessica Ferrow (pictured) ran a seminar entitled ‘Free Electricity and Money in your Bank: why solar PV is the perfect investment for landlords’.

The session covered the science behind solar PV, how it works, why it even works in the English climate and most importantly, why Feed-in Tariffs mean that solar is one of the hottest investments for landlords at this moment in time. Also covered was the recent announcement that this year would see a significant rise in electricity prices, which will affect over 2.4 million homes in the UK which is why solar PV could make a house with solar PV the most sought after rental property on the street.

We were delighted to see such a good turn out of finance-savvy landlords who tested us with numerous questions and comments. We hope the session was interesting and informative to all who attended and look forward to rolling out some exciting PV projects with landlords across the South West in the very near future.

Great ideas and new, improved technology is coming to the renewable energy field at a fast pace. Even with the setbacks, alternative energy will soon overtake oil.
