The SunnyCALC family of products have been designed to meet the needs of all those interested in solar energy. Each product is underpinned by (1) the SunnyCALC database - a catalogue of circa 1400 solar panels from 100 manufacturers and 360 solar energy inverters from 42 manufacturers and (2) actual weather data collected on an hourly basis from 59 locations throughout the UK and Ireland.

Designed for the 'interested' party.

This tool is very fast, asks a minimum of questions, and produces results instantly. Users are not required to login, and should be aware that a number of relevant questions are not asked - e.g. the ventillation behind the solar panels.

That said, we beleive the results provide a sound indication to the viability of carrying out further investigations, which provide an estimate of the energy available along with a comparison between generation and usage, based on average energy usage.

This product is suitable for those who have used SunnyCALC™_LITE, and wish to persue thir investigation into the viability of solar energy.

This programme will pre-analyse the installation under consideration, and select equipment that matches certain criteria based on sound and established design criteria.

The simulation also uses additional scripts to optimist the accuracy of the results, such as the ecocalc.com cell temperature script. Users also can modify their demand profile, to more accurately reflect their actual electricity usage.

The simulation reports are more detailled than with SunnyCALC™_LITE, and this product has the most advanced user interface available on the market today.

Designed with the energy professional in mind, this program gives the user full control over a very wide range of inputs, that mimic the real environment, such as cable runs, ventillation etc.

The system will suggest equipment to use, but also offers options at each step, to cater for the informed professional or preferred supplier arrangements.

Calculation scripts and reports are identical for SunnyCALC™_AUTO and SunnyCALC™_PRO.
